Manchesterism aims to elucidate fresh perspectives for an era where the influence of classical liberalism is in decline.

Topics we are interested in include empiricism, evolutionary psychology, (meta)ethics, moral skepticism, economic analysis of norms, social philosophy, competitive government, euroscepticism, financial privacy, political quietism, and analytic existentialism.

A far as ethics and social philosophy are concerned, we have a strong interest in Hobbesian contractarianism and the writings of David Gauthier and Jan Narveson. Another favorite social philosopher is Anthony de Jasay.
